Welcome to Town Trails, a community walking organisation that provides guided walks, themed trails, and local experiences across towns and countryside settings. By booking or joining one of our events, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us
Town Trails creates inclusive, mindful walking experiences that support local wellbeing, tourism, and small businesses.

2. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be made in advance via our official platforms (e.g. Eventbrite, our website, or approved partners).

Places are limited and confirmed upon receipt of full payment or registration.

Ticket prices include listed activities only (e.g. guided walk, entry fees, refreshments if stated).

We reserve the right to amend event details if necessary (e.g. weather, safety, or access issues). Any significant changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.

3. Cancellations & Refunds​

Cancellations of the event are non-refundable.

If Town Trails cancels an event due to weather, safety, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or offered an alternative date.

Refunds are processed via the same platform you used to book (e.g. Eventbrite).

4. Participant Responsibility

Walks are designed to be gentle and accessible, but participants are responsible for ensuring they are fit enough to join the chosen trail.

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for outdoor walking and bring water or any personal medication required.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Dogs are welcome on selected trails only (please check event details in advance).

Participants agree to follow safety instructions from guides at all times and to respect the environment, local communities, and fellow walkers.

5. Liability

Town Trails takes all reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety, but walking and outdoor activities always carry some risk.

By attending, you accept that you participate at your own risk and that Town Trails, its guides, or associated partners cannot be held responsible for:

Accidents or injuries unless caused by proven negligence;

Loss or damage to personal property;

Events or conditions beyond our control (e.g. weather, wildlife, transport delays).

6. Weather & Event Changes

Walks will go ahead in most weather conditions, but routes or timings may be adjusted for safety or accessibility.

In the case of severe weather warnings (e.g. storms, flooding, extreme heat), events may be postponed or cancelled, and participants notified as soon as possible.

7. Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during walks for promotional use by Town Trails (website, social media, marketing).

If you prefer not to appear in photos, please let the guide or photographer know before the walk begins.

8. Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection laws.

Your information is used solely for managing bookings, communication, and event safety.

9. Accessibility & Inclusion

10. Code of Conduct
We walk kindly.
All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others, guides, local residents, wildlife, and the environment. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.

We welcome your feedback and take concerns seriously.

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
