Town Trails – Refund Policy

At Town Trails, we do our very best to plan and deliver each walk with care, safety, and attention to detail. We understand that plans sometimes change, but please read our refund policy carefully before booking.

1. No Refunds for Participant Cancellations

Once a booking is confirmed, tickets are non-refundable.
We’re a small community-based organisation, and event costs such as insurance, guide time, and venue partnerships are arranged in advance.

If you can no longer attend, we recommend:

• Transferring your ticket to a friend or family member (just let us know their name), or

• Contacting us early — if there’s a waiting list, we’ll do our best to help fill your spot and may offer a discretionary credit toward a future walk.

2. Refunds if Town Trails Cancels

If Town Trails cancels an event for any reason — such as severe weather, illness, safety concerns, or unexpected closures — you will receive a full refund or be offered a transfer to a new date.

Refunds will be issued automatically through the same platform you used to book (e.g. Eventbrite).

3. Event Changes

We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to routes, timings, or venues for safety or logistical reasons. These changes do not qualify for a refund if the event still takes place.

If major changes occur (e.g. a full venue or route cancellation), all participants will be notified promptly and refunded in full.

4. Weather Conditions

Our walks run in most weather — light rain, wind, or cool conditions are all part of the outdoor experience.
However, if extreme weather (such as storms, flooding, or unsafe conditions) requires us to cancel, all bookings will be refunded or rescheduled.
